Georgia is engaged in a range of corporate and commercial law matters, with particular focus on cross-border mergers, corporate restructuring, banking and finance, regulatory compliance of financial services, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
She also undertakes legal research in the domain of Cyberlaw, Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, ensuring continual alignment with evolving developments by participating in various seminars and courses.
Additionally, Georgia is involved in navigating the applicability of European Directives within regulated sectors, assisting in licensing, supervisory and operational requirements.
Georgia has recently attended training and obtained certificates on AI for Compliance Professionals (ICA Essentials), Law & Technology (Executive Program of Nomiki Bibliothiki College & Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society) and Legal Teaching & Academic Practice (CLTAP) in the context of which she lectured on Cyberlaw.
